Introduction to Becoming a Professional Sports Agent

In the world of professional sports, the sports agent works at the heart of the industry—representing players, negotiating major deals, and maintaining relationships. In today’s market, these skills are highly valued. This course is designed for professionals who are passionate about the business of sports and interested in learning the insider rules of what it takes to become a successful sports agent. Taught by Brian Mackler, a successful sports agent with more than 25 years of experience, this course will introduce the various aspects of the agent business, including contract negotiations, recruitment, endorsements, marketing, and the collective bargaining agreement. Guest speakers will include members of the professional football community.
