In addition, learn about the economic value of meetings and events for achieving organizational goals, and develop the skills and foresight to analyze and to employ the trends that will shape the experience, delivery, and outcomes of meetings. Upon completion of this online certificate, you have a solid understanding of the key buyers, suppliers, and intermediaries in the industry, as well as the technologies that influence it. All certificate courses are held online asynchronously and self-paced with weekly deadlines for lesson and assignment completion. This certificate consists of two required courses and three electives.
No, once a class has started, students cannot enroll. That said, we offer each certificate course every fall, spring, and summer session so feel free to join the class during a future term.
Each class varies in price but you can expect to complete the certificate with the cost range of $4,100-$4,600 total.
No, students can take the certificate classes in any order that works best for their schedules.

It’s preferable if you do, but you can still declare candidacy even after taking a course. Declaring candidacy does not commit you to completing it, but you will receive a 10% discount on future NYU SPS continuing education courses.
Assuming the course is part of the certificate, yes, but only if the course was taken within an acceptable time frame. The academic department gives students a specific amount of time to complete a certificate. The start date would be adjusted to the first class to which we applied the discount.
Yes, if a student declares candidacy for a certificate and achieves an average overall grade of B or higher in courses counting toward the certificate, they will be awarded a certificate badge upon completion, which will be shareable on their resume and LinkedIn profile.
No, continuing education courses and certificates do not qualify for financial aid.
Most continuing education programs do not count as credit toward a degree.
