Greg Zipes
Adjunct Assistant ProfessorGreg has over 20 years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience in both private practice and the federal government, and has been involved in many of the largest bankruptcy cases in the country. He has published articles in the American Bankruptcy Law Journal and the Norton Annual Survey of Bankruptcy Law. He has taught the bankruptcy and restructuring class at the School of Professional Studies for the last six years.
He holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a law degree from UCLA. Outside of work, Greg enjoys reading books on history. He has recently completed his first biography entitled Justice and Faith: The Frank Murphy Story (University of Michigan Press, 2021), available on Amazon.
