
Bennett Carlin
Adjunct Instructor
Bennett Carlin, PE, is an adjunct instructor in the School of Professional Studies, Schack Institute of Real Estate, specializing in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. After sixteen years in the private sector working in consulting engineering, he is currently a senior engineer with DASNY, overseeing an engineering team in the downstate Project Design and Quality Assurance unit. Mr. Carlin previously taught in the Cooper Union School of Architecture, and at Mechanics Institute in New York City. At NYUSPS he teaches courses including Building Mechanical and Electrical Systems and Equipment; Mechanical Systems for the A.R.E.; and Electrical Systems for the A.R.E.
