This course is designed to help professionals in the teaching, learning, and development space teach and instruct effectively online. This course will cover the application of learning theory to online instruction, online content development, and strategies for online synchronous delivery. Learn how to define the characteristics and needs of modern adult distance learners, and gain an understanding of the characteristic differences between online and traditional courses. Then, develop and hone effective strategies for meeting those needs through synchronous online instruction. This course will culminate in the design and delivery of a synchronous instructional unit that you will be able to use for your own professional applications.
