Maureen Quinn

Adjunct Instructor

Maureen Quinn served as the United States Ambassador to Qatar; Coordinator for Afghanistan at the State Department; and Deputy Chief of Mission in Morocco. As an economic officer, she also represented the United States in Guinea, Panama, and Pakistan. Ambassador Quinn spent half her diplomatic career at the State Department in Washington, DC, where she served as Deputy Executive Secretary in the Executive Secretariat; Executive Assistant to the Under Secretary for Economic Affairs; and held a mid-career Pearson Fellowship in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has worked as an Adjunct at Seton Hall University, New York University, and the City University of New York. Ambassador Quinn earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and Economics from Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Washington, DC.
