Drawing Techniques for Art Specialists

This studio art course is designed specifically for professionals in arts-related careers, such as writers, curators, gallerists, historians, appraisers, and others who seek to deepen their understanding of drawing so as to enhance their professional practice and connoisseurship. Sequential hands-on experiences give you deeper insight into the artist’s creative process. In-class exercises and independent projects explore the essential concepts and techniques of representational drawing, including line, shape, volume, light and shade, space, texture, and composition.
