How to Get Hired in Allied Health

This accelerated four-week course is tailored to helping you secure a position in the health information management (HIM) industry, including in clinical documentation improvement (CDI), reimbursement methodologies, medical coding, and management. CDI, reimbursement methodologies, and medical coding are all rapidly growing sectors within the HIM industry, which serves to validate accuracy and specificity in healthcare with the overall optimization of medical claims processing. Your skills and expertise are only as strong as your ability to sell them. You also need to know how to present yourself as an attractive potential employee in this exciting field. You will prepare and develop the skills necessary to highlight your proficiencies. This course has been developed and is taught in conjunction with experienced medical professionals in the industry who have experience as hiring managers. It is offered in-person, providing you with one-on-one mock interview experience. Upon completion of this course, you will be equipped to make a lasting impression on hiring managers and others throughout your job search in the HIM industry.
