Claire Rosenfeld, MFA, is a professor of fine arts who exhibits her Figurative Expressionist paintings, drawings, and prints nationally and internationally. Selected solo exhibits include Museo de la Ciudad (Mexico), the Painting Center, Prince Street, and Westbeth Galleries; and group shows at Lori Bookstein, David McKee, Broome Street, A.I.R, Grey, Lillian Heidenberg Galleries, New York Studio School, Parsons School of Design, Silvermine Guild, and galleries abroad. Grants include Fundacion Valparaiso (Spain), Fundacion Central Cultural (Dominican Republic), Michael Karolyi Foundation (France), MacDowell Colony, Ossabaw Island Project, Millay Colony and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Gottleib Foundation. She has taught at the School of Visual Arts, Silvermine School of Art, Parsons and the New School. Claire teaches painting at NYUSPS in the Center for Applied Liberal Arts.
