Ron Kaplan, Esq. is an attorney with a law practice focused on New York City real estate.  He was an assistant corporation counsel for the City of New York in the 1980’s, performing legal work on such large scale projects as the rehabilitation of 42nd Street and Times Square and the Metrotech Development in downtown Brooklyn.  Ron has been in private practice since 1988, representing landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers of commercial and residential properties in transactions and litigation.  He has prosecuted and defended actions and proceedings in state and federal courts and before municipal agencies.  Ron is counsel to and transfer agent for coop boards, and of counsel and adviser to other law firms and real estate title companies.  He is also a court appointed receiver and referee in real estate foreclosure matters.
