John Haslach

Adjunct Instructor

John Haslach is an adjunct instructor with the Schack Institute of Real Estate. He has over 30 years of experience in taxation with large CPA firms in the New York City area. Currently, Mr. Haslach is the tax director for a large New York City real estate investment firm, which owns over 300 properties in 26 states and 4 foreign countries.  Prior to his current position, Mr. Haslach was with the real estate group of Ernst & Young in New York City.  Mr. Haslach is a frequent speaker on many tax related topics and has written numerous articles on a wide variety of tax issues. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in taxation from Seton Hall University.
