Nicole Becher is a Senior Auditor at Ciphertechs, a security solutions company based in NYC. where she specializes in application security, penetration testing, malware analysis & computer forensics. Previously she worked for a financial regulator assessing the cyber-readiness of large and complex financial institutions, wrote cyber-regulations, helped draft the first regulatory framework for bitcoin/virtual currency companies. She is also an adjunct instructor at NYU, teaching courses on computer hacking and computer forensics. Nicole is also a fellow of the Madison Policy Forum, a cybersecurity policy group bridging military, government and industry. She is a public speaker & a chapter leader for OWASP Brooklyn & wrote vulnerable software for the “capture the flag” contest at AppSecUSA.
