George Tockstein

Adjunct Instructor

George Tockstein is an adjunct instructor for commercial real estate within the Schack Institute of Real Estate and is an experienced real estate asset manager and negotiator with experience working for both corporations and landlords. He was Director of National Administration at Coopers & Lybrand where he directed all aspects of real estate including negotiations, design, and construction of newly acquired facilities prior to moving to asset management for three of the largest family owned portfolios based in New York. At NYUSPS he teaches courses including commercial property management and commercial lease analysis. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Fordham University and sits on the Westchester County Fire Advisory Board and is currently an independent asset manager advising commercial portfolio clients.
