Estelle Erasmus, an award-winning journalist and writing coach, has written for The New York TimesThe Washington PostSalonFamily Circle MagazineYour Teen for ParentsVox and more. She is the former magazine editor-in-chief of five national consumer publications. Erasmus is a longtime member of the American Society of Magazine Editors and is the host/curator for the American Society of Journalists and Authors podcast: ASJA Direct: Inside Intel on Getting Published and Paid Well. She teaches pitching and personal essay writing for Writer’s Digest and is a three-time BlogHer Voice of the Year winner. She read her original work in the inaugural New York show of “Listen to Your Mother”.  Estelle teaches Writing Parenthood: Writing for a Growing Market at NYUSPS in the Center for Applied Liberal Arts.
