Kelly Carroll is an award-winning preservation professional. As Executive Director of the Atlantic Avenue Business Improvement District in Brooklyn, New York, she is the liaison to 300 small businesses and the face of “Brooklyn’s Main Street.” As the former Director of Advocacy & Community Outreach at the Historic Districts Council, she was the point person to 500+ community groups. Her work was instrumental in the designation of several NYC historic districts and individual landmarks. Kelly received an MS in Historic Preservation from Columbia University. She serves on the board of directors of the City Club of New York and the advisory board of the Historic Districts Council. She is also a 2023 Coro New York Neighborhood Leadership Fellow.
