
Elizabeth Schumer
Adjunct InstructorLizz Schumer is a journalist and nonfiction writer, specializing in food, culture, and service journalism. She currently works as a staff writer at Good Housekeeping, Prevention, and Woman’s Day magazines. Her articles and stories have appeared in The New York Times, Bon Appetit, HuffPost, and a range of literary journals. She is the author of Buffalo Steel. Schumer has taught journalism and communications at Niagara University and Canisius College. She received her MFA from Goddard College. Schumer teaches Magazine Copyediting at NYUSPS in the Center for Applied Liberal Arts.
