Cannabis Sales and Marketing
This course will focus primarily on luxury marketing for cannabis and related products. Students will learn about how to best market various products and services given the lack of traditional marketing channels available to cannabis. Marketing expenses cannot be deducted for tax purposes, making ROI analysis in cannabis marketing essential. Regulations and their impact on marketing will be reviewed. Trends and projections will be discussed in depth. For instance, what are other businesses doing now and how can you avoid targeting the youth market? Additionally, the impact of the illicit market on sales will be discussed.
