Adjunct Instructor

Carol Lawson is an adjunct instructor at the Center for Applied Liberal Arts, NYUSPS.  For 23 years she was on the staff of The New York Times as an editor and reporter.  She wrote the weekly “Broadway” column and covered the visual and performing arts for the culture department.  Later, she wrote about evolving societal trends in the workplace and home for the style department.  She also contributed articles to the Book Review and the Business, Science and Travel sections.  She is a writing coach for corporations and has written for national magazines.  A graduate of Northwestern University, she holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in journalism.
