Maureen Brady
Adjunct Assistant ProfessorMaureen Brady, MA, Adjunct Assistant Professor with NYU SPS Writing Program, teaches Short Story Writing. A novelist and short story writer, her books include the novels Getaway; Ginger’s Fire; Folly; and Give Me Your Good Ear, and the short story collection The Question I Put to Myself, as well as 3 books of nonfiction. She won the Saints and Sinners short story contest in 2015 and was runner up in 2019. Her essay, “Raleigh Bonuses” was published in Bellevue Literary Review’s Fall 2024 edition. She has received grants from NYSCA Writer in Residence; NYFA; Ludwig Vogelstein; Money for Women Barbara Deming Memorial Fund and others.
