Topics include editing tests and how to take them successfully; résumé resourcefulness, interviewing skills, and job interview follow-up; workplace etiquette and communications techniques; walking the tightrope between copyediting and content editing; the pluses and minuses of social media; and networking by using your contacts to the fullest. Receive constructive feedback on interactive assignments and role-playing situations that will help you to launch your copyediting career.  This course may be used to fulfill the requirements of the Certificate in Professional Copyediting, Proofreading, and Fact-Checking .
