Division of Programs in Business Welcomes Incoming Spring 2020 Students at Graduate Orientation

The NYU School of Professional Studies (SPS) hosted its biannual Dean’s Graduate Welcome & Orientation on January 22nd, 2020 at the NYU Kimmel Center for University Life. NYUSPS Dean Susan Greenbaum welcomed the incoming graduate class, followed by greetings from the divisional Deans and a keynote speech on the skills of networking by Andrew Sasson, Managing Director at Ackman-Ziff and NYUSPS alum.

Dr. Martin Ihrig, Associate Dean of the Division of Programs in Business (DPB), moderated a panel discussion for DPB students on maximizing their experience at SPS. Distinguished panelists included: Carolina Ceballos, Senior Project Lead at Verizon and Adjunct Instructor for Project Management; Carmella Glover, Executive Director of the PRSA Foundation and an alum of Public Relations and Corporate Communication; Mike Valentine, Senior Managing Partner of TruEdge Consulting and Clinical Assistant Professor of Human Capital Management; and David Viteri, Partner at Viteri Marketing and current Integrated Marketing student.

DPB is the largest division at NYU School of Professional Studies, with over 2,200 students, 500 faculty, and 6,700 alumni. The Division comprises four centers of excellence that educate leaders in the functional areas of an enterprise. Each department’s credit and non-credit portfolio of educational offerings serves students at every level of their careers, providing them with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in critical positions in their professional development.
