At the Human Capital Management Department (HCM), we are committed to building leaders of the people function for the Future of Work. The People management profession of the future will reach far beyond the boundaries of the current HR function. The things future HR will do, and how it will frame its activities, will not resemble how it is traditionally defined today. The domain of work, and the work relationships HR will be dealing with are expanding to include alternative work arrangements beyond traditional full-time employment. Analytics and technology will provide intelligent data on people, teams, and organizations that leaders of organizations have been waiting for.
At HCM, we are keeping our finger on the pulse of the HR profession as it transforms itself to become the leading business function. Our curriculum is focused on the workplace of the future and our HCM faculty represents a diversity of business practitioner/scholars directly connecting the classroom to industry needs and trends. The quality of NYU HCM educational experience is tested by each graduating class by the number of job placements and promotions our graduates receive. We are inviting you to share our excitement about learning how to succeed in the workplace of the Future.
