Timothy Higdon
Adjunct Assistant ProfessorTimothy Higdon has 30+ years of leadership and management experience in nonprofits, military and the private sector. Organizations he has consulted or served include NYU Langone Medical Center, Columbia University, RevJen, Hunter College Foundation, Girl Scouts of the USA, US Holocaust Memorial Museum, Episcopal Relief and Development, The National Constitution Center and Amnesty International. He is currently the President and CEO of Hearing Health Foundation.
As a consultant, he has focused on leading small to medium sized capital campaigns, executive-level interim leadership roles, fundraising consultation, and training and coaching for nonprofit organizations and leaders.
He has developed and taught multiple fundraising and leadership courses including governance, major gifts and capital campaigns for organizations of all sizes.
Timothy is a former Army Major who served fifteen years in the US Army Corps of Engineers. He holds degrees from Indiana University (B.S.) and New York University (M.P.A.).
