The Professor Edward Kleinert Memorial Scholarship

The Professor Edward Kleinert Scholarship Fund honors the legacy of the distinguished Clinical Associate Professor who helped launch the M.S. in Project Management program at the Division of Programs in Business at NYU School of Professional Studies. Professor Kleinert’s unwavering dedication to students, passion for project management and commitment to his colleagues made him a driving force at the School of Professional Studies. Professor Kleinert embodied an extraordinary and exemplary character who was truly a significant inspiration. The Professor Edward Klerinert Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to incoming students in the M.S in Project Management degree program who are committed to utilizing the skills and tools taught in the degree program to improve the lives of others.

Scholarship Responsibilities

The scholarship recipient must be an incoming first semester student in the M.S in Project Management degree program. They must demonstrate a passion for project management and a desire to utilize the skills and tools taught in the M.S in Project Management program to improve the lives of others and in the community. Upon degree completion, the Scholar must conduct a presentation on the impact of the scholarship on their academic career, as well as, their post graduation aspirations.

Scholarship Amount

$25,000 total per award

Eligibility Requirements

Incoming first semester student in the M.S in Project Management degree program.

2 letters of recommendation

Letters of Recommendations must be from professional or academic contacts (professors, supervisors, mentors, etc).

Statement of Purpose

In 500 words or less, please describe how you plan to utilize the skills and tools gained in the M.S in Project Management degree program to improve the lives of others and within your community.

Interview

Finalists will be invited to interview virtually with the Scholarship Committee.
