I want to pursue the program part-time. How long would it take me to complete the degree?
Part-time students can successfully complete the degree in its entirety within 2 years. However, students have up to five years to complete the degree should they require additional a bit more time.
How many credits is the Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting (ECOC) degree?
The ECOC degree is 30 credits. The program consists of 12 courses that are a mix of 3 credits and 1.5 credits.
What does low-residency mean?
Low residency denotes a program that is online with one or two in-person components.
Is this degree online or in-person?
The program offers two tracks for students to choose from: in-person or online.
Immersion Fundamentals Residency is an immersive residency course. What does that entail?
Immersion Fundamentals Residency is a required 5-day, in-person course that meets from Tuesday through Saturday. This is an opportunity for full-time and part-time students to meet and work together in-person as a cohort. For five full days, there will be field site visits, meetings with visiting industry professionals, and in-class coaching workshops facilitated by an NYU professor. For Fall 2020, the dates will be September 8th - 12th.
What if I can’t attend some or all of the 5-day in-person Immersion Fundamentals Residency course?
Students are required to attend all 5 days of the course. As the course is a requirement to begin the program, we recommend that students apply for the following year if they aren’t available for the duration of the course.
Do you have a sample schedule for full-time and part-time study?

What differentiates your program from other credentialing programs?
Our Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting degree is the first Masters program dedicated to field of coaching in the United States. All coaching and consulting techniques and competencies within the degree are aligned and backed by evidence-based research. Additionally, we teach students how to develop and publish their own evidence-based research.
Is the program ICF-credentialed?
Our faculty members are ICF-credentialed. The degree program itself will be under review for ICF credentialing in 2021. All of our courses within ECOC are aligned with ICF-competencies.
