Chris Lawlor is a Co-Founder of TQ Tezos, a NYC-based software company that builds open source standards and tools and helps enterprises and startups implement solutions on the Tezos smart contract platform. He is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University, where he teaches the graduate level course “Entrepreneurship in a Globalized World.”

Chris is also an advisor to numerous companies including CIV:LAB, a NYC-based, global not-for-profit organization that focuses on advancing urban innovation.

Previously, Chris served as the first Head of North America for Monica Vinader Ltd, a high-growth consumer brand based in London. He split his time between NYC, where he was responsible for establishing and leading the North American team and business, and London, where he served on the global executive team with oversight of the company’s operations in the UK, EMEA, Asia, and North America.

An entrepreneur at heart, Chris has founded or co-founded four companies in diverse fields including mobility, consumer goods, luxury goods, and workforce development. He co-founded the Harvard Real Estate Venture Competition, the first prop-tech competition in the US, ran a venture fund and holding company for startups at Northwestern University, and is an investor member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of New York. He is an avid skier, amateur musician, and lover of food, wine, travel, science, and space.

Chris holds a B.A. in Physics and Astronomy from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
