Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies Clinical Professor Mechthild Schmidt Feist was recognized with a Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Award for her Earned Media project investigating the role of media in communicating social and environmental awareness. This honor will allow her to expand the scope of her research to include Indian and Asian media advocacy. As part of the fellowship, she also will host a student workshop on the topic at the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore in 2020.
