Austin N Moukattaf

Austin Moukattaf is an Adjunct Instructor at the Schack Institute of Real Estate in the School of
Professional Studies at New York University. Mr. Moukattaf joined Hines’ NY office in 2019 where
he is a Director on the Residential Development team, focusing on residential development
opportunities (multifamily, for-sale condominium, single family rental, and mixed-use product types)
in the greater NY metro area. Prior to Hines, Mr. Moukattaf was an associate on the investments
team at ATCO Properties, a vertically integrated commercial real estate company in NYC. At ATCO,
he was responsible for the acquisition, development, and asset management of commercial and
residential investments, primarily in the NY metro area, as well as Austin TX and Charlotte NC. Prior
to ATCO Properties, Mr. Moukattaf began his career as an analyst at GLJ LLC, a privately-owned
Manhattan-based owner/developer/operator with a focus on value-add multifamily and mixed-use
investments. Mr. Moukattaf graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University, and received an
M.S. in Real Estate Finance and Investments from New York University.
