Bart Sichel is an Adjunct Instructor in the Integrated Marketing Communications department at NYU’s School of Professional Studies, within the Division of Programs in Business.

Bart has been a Fortune 500 CMO, an entrepreneur, and as a consultant he counseled senior executives on topics ranging from marketing, to organization structure, to innovation, to broad growth strategy.  

Bart spent 8 years as the Chief Marketing Officer at Burlington Stores, leading marketing, strategy, and ecommerce. Prior to Burlington Bart spent 13 years as a consultant at McKinsey & Company where as a Principal he co-led McKinsey’s North American Retail Marketing Practice among other leadership roles. Before McKinsey, Bart was involved in several startups and was a Vice President of Marketing at Chemical Bank.

Bart holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Vassar College and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Columbia University.

Bart also currently serves as Vice Chairman of the National Board of Directors for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a national non- profit dedicated to curing blood cancers and improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
