This is an accelerated certificate program. To receive your certificate, you must declare your candidacy by completing the Declaration of Candidacy form.
The Advanced AI and Communications certificate prepares experienced communicators to design and manage sophisticated human–AI communication workflows from research and writing to editing, publishing, and evaluation. The course emphasizes narrative strategy, advanced prompting, multi-agent coordination, and ethical decision-making, enabling participants to build reliable systems that blend AI efficiency with human judgment while maintaining editorial control, accuracy, and transparency. Delivered in an accelerated hybrid format (weekly synchronous meetings plus asynchronous study), the program provides hands-on experience orchestrating specialized AI agents, applying ethical frameworks, and developing defensible, end-to-end workflows supported by prompt libraries, AI routines, and documented human oversight.
Completion of the Communications and AI Certificate is recommended but not required.

The certificate is awarded to students who declare candidacy and successfully complete the one required course listed below with a grade of B or higher.
