Affordable Housing Portfolio and Risk Management
This course explores the complexities of acquiring, developing, and managing affordable housing real estate portfolios. This course will analyze the specific risks involved with affordable housing real estate assets using modern portfolio theory and other tools. Students will examine the methods utilized in strategic and tactical value enhancement of real estate featuring affordable housing. Students will learn how to balance the potential of financial reward with risk exposure management. Risk analysis will include a review of current creditworthiness analyses.
