Learn theories and concepts of fundraising, from the basics to new ideas, with applications to practical cases and situations. Explore Current issues in fundraising, including the impact of COVID-19 and social justice movements on the nonprofit sector. The importance of relationship building to fundraising is a central theme. Examine campaign types, feasibility studies, and the roles of the executive director and the board in fundraising. Discuss approaches to major donor solicitations, corporate and foundation fundraising, planned giving, ethics, and special campaigns.
