 
            Sydney Jarrard is an adjunct instructor for the MS in Professional Writing program at the NYU School of Professional Studies Center for Publishing, Writing, and Media. An award-winning writer and editor, she worked for a number of publishers, including HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and Hachette Book Group, before serving as Content Director for the national nonprofit American Booksellers Association. She currently edits for Penguin Random House and Scholastic, among other publishers, and is a recipient of the Richard S. Holden Diversity Fellowship from ACES: The Society for Editing.
