Jorge is Head of Strategic Finance at Bestow, a leading end-to-end digital infrastructure startup that powers the life insurance industry. He leads strategic planning, investor relations and business operations (BizOps), and oversees key financial & strategic projects across the organization. He works alongside the founders and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). He is also an adjunct professor at New York University teaching Finance for Marketing Decisions for graduate students.

 Prior to Bestow, Jorge was Vice President, Regional Strategic Projects at Prudential Financial, mainly focused on ensuring a strong link between the Regional President and key stakeholders, and overseeing, managing and advancing key strategic projects across multiple functions, geographies, and organizational levels within the region and Prudential's home office. He was a board member for a Joint Venture (JV) between Prudential and Inversiones La Construccion (ILC) that invests in a leading Latin American pension manager (AFP Habitat).

 Jorge held a variety of roles within Prudential Financial. He served as Director Finance & Strategy providing financial and strategic support to our Europe, Latin America and Africa regions, which include multiple product lines and distribution channels. He was responsible for financial management oversight including business drivers, financial planning & analysis and capital management, as well as supporting M&A initiatives and projects including, but not limited to, due diligence and integration on corporate development. 

 Jorge joined Prudential in July of 2016 after graduating from Duke University – Fuqua School of Business where he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with honors (Dean’s list). He was the Co-President of the Finance Club and non-voting Board Director at Durham Interfaith Hospitality Network. During his summer internship he was an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs in New York. 

 Before business school, Jorge was a Manager of Institutional Business at MBI Inversiones, a boutique Chilean asset manager, where he supervised the division of Institutional Clients and oversaw the funds distribution through external advisors. At the same time, Jorge was an adjunct professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, teaching the class Business Plan for New Ventures. Prior to that, Jorge was an Institutional Advisor at Principal Financial Group and a Financial Analyst at Microsoft. 

 Jorge is a graduate of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile where he earned the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Economics with honors and was Teaching Assistant for ten courses and Research Assistant for the book “Latin America in the XX Century”, UC Editions.
