Marc Somnolet is an international business and marketing leader. He led strategy, innovation, brand building and talent development across the world, and ensured top and bottom-line achievements. Marc is most effective leading complex matrix organizations with cross-cultural challenges. He is multicultural and multilingual. Marc was a marketing executive for more than 30 years in consumer product giants Colgate-Palmolive, Reckitt and L’Oréal. He is an expert in global home and personal care products. He led the development of iconic brands like Palmolive, Ajax, French’s and Studio Line. Marc had the privilege to help develop hundreds of senior marketers around the world as a leader, advisor, mentor and trainer. He takes great pride in their success.
Marc is currently Strategic Advisor to start-ups across several business sectors, and President of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. He earned an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Columbia Business School. He is an Adjunct Professor, teaching Integrated Marketing, Competitive Strategy, Capstone Business Plans, and Strategic Marketing for Marketers at the NYU SPS Master of Science in Integrated Marketing.
