Jennifer Brite
Jennifer Brite, DrPH, is an NYU alumnus (CAS, 2002) and is trained in epidemiology and biostatistics. She has applied public health experience in building and analyzing complex datasets using survey and administrative data through her work at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). She has published extensively on the health effects of the September 11 attacks and is currently examining social security disability and early retirement claims in this population. Additionally, she is currently leading a study to gather unclaimed death data nationwide in order to understand its determinants and distribution, as well as to more broadly examine economic and social disadvantage across the life course.
