This course introduces students to the cultural, economic, political, regulatory, social, and technological factors that influence entities along the organizational change continuum. Organizations today must operate in constantly evolving local and global environments. The course will discuss human behavior and behavioral issues in organizations from the perspectives of individuals and groups in regional and global organizational structures. In the discussions regarding change factors and behavioral characteristics, we will explore organizational change topics related to job satisfaction, team effectiveness, motivation, leadership, performance appraisal, communication, power and conflict, and career dynamics. Students will analyze the dichotomy of local cultural adaption to global citizenship that embraces inclusivity, interculturalism, equitable outcomes, and sustainability within an intercultural context.
