Monday June 15th Breakout Sessions
Valence: If Every Employee Had a Coach: Design the Future of Coaching at Scale
What if every employee had access to a coach at exactly the moment they needed one? Before a difficult conversation, after a big performance review, on their first day as a manager. In this interactive workshop, we'll put that question in your hands. Using a real client scenario, you'll work with fellow coaching and talent professionals to envision how coaching can be embedded across the employee experience.
Levi Goertz, Co-Founder and VP Client Solutions, Valence
Hogan Assessments: What We Lose When AI Makes Work Too Easy
Decades of learning science converge on a counterintuitive truth: deep understanding, sound judgment, and resilience don't come from frictionless performance. They come from productive struggle—the effortful engagement that stretches a learner just past what they can do easily.
Generative AI is remarkably good at removing that struggle. It makes work feel faster, smoother, and more fluent, often at the cost of the very friction that builds mastery.
This session unpacks what productive struggle is and why it matters, how AI can quietly short-circuit it even when outcomes look impressive, and why this shift actually raises the value of human coaches. Coaches offer something AI typically won't: calibrated friction, applied at the right moment, for the right person.
Korn Ferry: Leadership at Olympic Speed & Scale: Developing the Workforce Behind LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games
Delivering the Olympic and Paralympic Games requires more than operational excellence. It requires building leadership capability at extraordinary scale, speed, and complexity.
In this session, leaders from LA28 and Korn Ferry will explore how assessment, coaching, and learning are being combined to support leadership development across a rapidly growing workforce preparing for one of the world’s most visible global events.
The discussion will examine how LA28 is approaching leadership readiness, employee engagement, and scalable development within a uniquely time-bound organization where culture, adaptability, and rapid deployment are critical to success.
Attendees will gain insight into how connected development strategies can help organizations accelerate readiness, strengthen leadership pipelines, and support workforce transformation in high-stakes environments.
Research Panel: At the Edge: Coaching, AI and Creating the Third Space Together
We need you to help use shape and create a third space for our industry, where human development and technology genuinely meet, where coaching's irreplaceable contribution to human flourishing gets defined, and where the new structures and narratives our field needs are being shaped.
We will bring 3 open questions about coaching's role in an AI world we have been working on with a Think Tank directly to you. Questions nobody can resolve on their own. In small groups, you'll go deep on one of the questions that matters most to you, add what you know, challenge what you don't believe, and help push the thinking this field still needs to do. Then we harvest what the whole room produced. The strongest thinking generated here goes directly into an article we want to publish.
This is not a discussion that ends in this room.
No slides. Just your thinking — and a question worth your 40 minutes.
Your perspective and input is the point. Come ready to use it.
Rebecca Rutschmann, AI in Coaching Pioneer, Viva la Coaching AI Academy
Susan Caesar, Director of Artificial Intelligence, ICF
Tuesday June 16th Breakout Sessions
Listening Intelligence: The Hidden Driver of Performance: The Case for Listening Intelligence
In today’s workplace, many of the biggest barriers to performance are not rooted in strategy or talent—they begin in communication. Misalignment, stalled collaboration, low trust, and missed opportunities often stem from one overlooked skill: how people listen. While organizations invest heavily in leadership communication, feedback, and coaching, listening is rarely developed as a measurable, trainable capability.
This session introduces Listening Intelligence as a modern practical framework for leadership and team effectiveness, grounded in the rigor of a scientifically validated assessment that measures cognitive listening habits. Moving beyond traditional models of active or empathetic listening, LQ™ reveals how people habitually process, prioritize, and interpret information—and how those unconscious patterns shape communication outcomes. Participants will learn how Listening Intelligence builds communication agility, creates stronger alignment among diverse thinkers, and helps leaders and teams leverage cognitive diversity as a performance advantage.
Rachel Zillner, Co-Owner, Listening Intelligence
Osmo: Beyond Certification: Experiencing the Next Generation of Coaching Support
Many coaches leave certification programs inspired and ready to make an impact, only to discover that building a coaching practice can feel surprisingly lonely and fragmented. Between finding clients, improving their craft, managing administrative work, and navigating a growing landscape of technology tools, many coaches struggle to find the support they need after training ends.
This interactive session offers a hands-on look at how emerging technologies are reshaping the coaching profession. Participants will experience a live coaching demonstration powered by Osmo, an AI-assisted coaching platform designed specifically for coaches. Through a real coaching conversation, attendees will see how AI can help streamline note-taking, surface coaching insights, and reduce administrative burden while preserving the human connection at the heart of coaching.
Participants will also have the opportunity to explore community-based features that support peer learning, discussion, and ongoing professional growth. Whether you are a new coach, an experienced practitioner, or a coaching educator, this session will provide practical insight into how technology can support coaches in becoming more effective, connected, and confident in their work.
Antons Davis, Founder and CEO, Osmo
ICF: Driving Transformation and Future Business Success Through Coaching
Organizations are facing increasing pressure to remain agile, innovative, and future-ready in an era shaped by rapid technological change and evolving workforce expectations. This session explores how coaching cultures are driving organizational transformation and delivering measurable business results through leadership development, AI-enabled coaching, and evidence-based coaching practices. Drawing on ICF research and real-world case studies, participants will learn how organizations are leveraging coaching skills and scalable coaching approaches to improve productivity, strengthen engagement, enhance performance, and support long-term business success. The session will also examine the growing role of AI in expanding access to coaching while preserving human-centered leadership and culture transformation.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Tenor: Practice Makes Performance: How AI Coaching Develops Every Employee
Organizations know that training alone doesn't change behavior. What moves the needle is consistent practice, timely feedback, and coaching that meets employees in the flow of work. In this breakout session, Tenor CEO, James Cross, will break down how voice AI is making that kind of development possible for every employee, every day. You'll see a live walkthrough of Tenor's AI-powered role-plays and real-time coaching, explore what this shift means for L&D strategy, and have time for hands-on Q&A.
James Cross, Co-Founder, Tenor
Pre-registration for breakout sessions will open two weeks prior to the event. A Google Form will be shared with registered attendees to select their preferred sessions. We encourage early selection, as space may be limited. Rooms to be determined at a later date.
