Restaurant Management: Capstone Course
The Certificate in Restaurant Management has its foundation in problem-based learning—and this capstone course is where it all comes together. The class will be presented with a restaurant industry problem to work on, either in groups or individually. You will use the outline identified for the class to search for a resolution to the problem. In the final session, you will make a brief presentation on how you came to your resolution and what impact it will have on the business. This course is presented in a blended format: two sessions will be online and two will be in-person in the classroom. The live interaction is important to the problem-solving nature of the course.
