ESL Reading and Writing: Advanced A

This course for advanced-level English students focuses on reading and writing in English for both general and academic purposes. Through analyzing news articles, essays, and other works of both fiction and nonfiction, students learn to interpret English-language texts and to understand why authors make their choices of content, language, and structure. Students also learn editing strategies while writing multiple drafts of essays in different genres.
