HVAC Systems Design II
This course focuses on the types of building systems, including constant and variable volume; vapor compression refrigeration cycle; centrifugal and absorption chillers; heat rejection options, including cooling towers, air-cooled condensers, and river water; pipe sizing for hydronic and steam systems; centrifugal pumps, including selection criteria and pump laws; and boilers and heat pumps.
Note: Registering at least two weeks prior to the start of the course date is highly recommended. Popular classes fill up quickly and more specialized classes need sufficient enrollment.
