
Jan Clausen
Adjunct InstructorJan Clausen is the author of a dozen books across genres. Fiction titles include Mother, Sister, Daughter, Lover (stories) and the novels Sinking, Stealing, and The Prosperine Papers. Recent works include Veiled Spill: A Sequence (GenPop Books) and a new edition of her 1999 memoir Apples and Oranges (Seven Stories Press). Her reviews and literary journalism have appeared in Boston Review, Ms., The Nation, Poets & Writers, and The Women's Review of Books. A recipient of fellowships from the NEA and NYFA, Clausen has taught creative writing for over three decades, serving on the faculties of Eugene Lang College, Goddard's MFA Program, and elsewhere. She is working on a second memoir, My Great Acceleration, portions of which have appeared in Camas, Firmament, Makhzin, and Tupelo Quarterly.
