Christine Axen

Christine Axen

Adjunct Instructor

Christine received her PhD from Boston University and currently teaches medieval and art history at several universities in New York City.  Her research focuses on the thirteenth-century religious climate of Southern France. She is a guide at the Met Cloisters, and runs a weekly public history series via the Bronxville Adult School. She is devoted to bringing her lifelong passion for the Middle Ages to the broader public.
