Robert Marino AIA is a Principal at Perkins Eastman, an international architectural design and planning firm headquartered in New York City.  He has more than 30 years of experience as an architect for a wide range of commercial, hospitality, housing, and mixed use projects, both new construction and adaptive reuse.  Through extensive work with developers and institutional clients, he has developed particular expertise in multi-family housing, land-use planning, codes, zoning, and the public approval process. He served on numerous professional committees, including the NYC 2012 Building Code Committee, the Mayor’s Building Industry Advisory Council, the New York Chapter American Institute of Architects Housing Committee and Building Codes Committee (chair).  His committee work in rewriting codes to facilitate affordable housing earned an AIA Citation for Design Excellence.
