Nancy DiBenedetto

Nancy DiBenedetto

Adjunct Instructor

Nancy  DiBenedetto is a professor and lecturer in American, English, and Irish literature. She is also an art and architectural historian specializing in 17th century Dutch, 18th century British, and 19th through 21st century American and European art.  A Yale graduate, she has held administrative and decanal positions at Pratt Institute, NY School of Interior Design, and at SUNY Purchase.  DiBenedetto teaches the mystery novel at NYUSPS and has also taught at the Writing Center at Hunter, CUNY Graduate Center, and Marymount.  She is a marketing and development consultant for non-profit organizations like the NY Foundation for the Arts, the National Association of Women Artists, and the Lyric Chamber Music Society of NY.  She has written articles and reviews for art magazines and exhibition catalogues, and is a book doctor.
