Speaking Mindfully

Calm, poised, and confident. That’s how we would like to give our talks or speeches, whether to a large audience, in a conference room, on a webinar, or one on one. Many times, however, critical thoughts, distractions, a shaky voice, or sweaty palms seem to undo our best efforts. Being present, prepared, focused, and relaxed can help us to communicate messages powerfully and effectively by allowing us to connect with the audience in our own unique, authentic, and personal style. Through effective public speaking skills, mindfulness, and meditation, we learn how to develop confidence, calmness, and our talk, be it formal, informal, or impromptu. In this course, develop the mindfulness skills to be in the present moment, connect with your audience, and have true communication, thereby learning how to speak powerfully, authentically, and mindfully.
