Web Design: From Concept to Completion

Are you interested in pursuing website design as a possible career path? Have you ever wondered how websites are created or how the Internet works in general? If your answer is yes, then this is the class for you! During this hands-on course of study, you will learn how to build, style, and program webpages. You will gain experience using Photoshop and Dreamweaver to execute your concepts, and you will acquire a deeper knowledge of how the Internet and online commerce actually work. Taking the user experience into account, you will come to understand the fundamental elements, design, and navigation tools that comprise a truly effective web presence. Field trips will supplement lessons learned in the classroom and will allow you to grasp how businesses are translated into online experiences. By the end of the course, you will have created a fully functional website.
