<p>A dynamic and multi-hyphenate artist, Ramón Rodríguez has crafted a distinguished career in film and television. Ramón currently stars in the title role and is an executive producer on the ABC hit drama series Will Trent. Ramón was nominated for a Critics Choice Award, Independent Spirit Award, and Imagen Award as a leading male in a drama series for this role, which is currently filming its third season. Ramón also recently completed filming action thriller film, G20 for Amazon where he stars opposite Viola Davis. Other past film and television credits include, The One &amp; Only Ivan, Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, The Taking of Pelham 123, Battle: Los Angeles, Need For Speed, HBO’s The Wire, Showtime’s The Affair, Marvel’s Netflix serieses Iron Fist and The Defenders, and Fox’s Gang Related. </p> <p>Under his production company Altura Productions, Ramón is now producing and developing several projects for both film and television that specifically focus on authentic storytelling from the perspective of Hispanic and Latino communities. He is deeply passionate about bringing attention to the issues facing the people of his native Puerto Rico and has spearheaded various relief efforts to help drive awareness, including directing the short documentary Pa’lante, which helped raise over one million dollars towards relief efforts following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.</p>
