Academy of Life Long Learning
SPS CALA The Future of Film: During and After the Pandemic

Even before the pandemic, movie attendance was in decline and the big studios seemed to have lost their way. Audience expectations of movies and television programs have completely changed in our current moment, including where and how we see them. How will media and media consumption change in the wake of COVID, as audiences are free to return to theaters?

HarryChotiner is a film historian and former executive at Zoetrope Studios, CBS Theatrical Films, 20th Century Fox, and Interscope Communications. He teaches the course "Let's Go To theMovies" at NYU SPS.
