Join CGA Alumni and Faculty on navigating the global job market and how the CGA can prepare you for careers in the global arena.

The NYU Center for Global Affairs is thrilled to announce a new career webinar series, "Careers in Global Affairs: Let's Talk about Navigating Careers in the Global Arena." Hosted by CGA Academic Director, Dr. Carolyn Kissane, we invite you to join a conversation with CGA alumni and faculty about how to navigate specific global job markets and to learn how CGA's graduate programs and academic specializations prepare students for jobs in the global arena.

In our fourth session "Let's Talk about the UN," Dr. Kissane will chat with CGA alumni working across all facets of United Nations. We'll also present an overview of the CGA United Nations Specialization, led by Dr. WPS Sidhu. The United Nations specialization provides a focus on the operations of the UN as well as the contemporary challenges it faces, preparing students for a career within the UN system in tandem with their chosen concentration. Students will learn practical skills like policy writing, and negotiations and mediation in the classroom and gain field experience by connecting with relevant UN-related agencies on real-world issues.

Stay tuned for our upcoming panelist announcement!

Guest Speaker:

Dr. WPS Sidhu, Clinical Associate Professor, NYU Center for Global Affairs & Director of United Nations Specialization

Moderated by:

Dr. Carolyn Kissane, Academic Director and Clinical Professor, NYU Center for Global Affairs & Director of MSGA Environment and Energy Concentration.
